6th week - Activities

When the 6th week of our project was started, we had to start lot of activities as we discussed. The main task was getting permission from the MOH office at Pannala. For that, our group prepared the permission letter & it was signed by our madam. Then during this week, we could to contact MOH madam at Pannala area & to get the permission. As we wished, they gave the permission us to do an awareness session about 2hours. We planned to do this with a resource person. I contacted a registered dietician named as Mrs.Thiloka Sammanai Hettiarachchi.

We planned a method to share the nutritious recipes among the mothers who have children under 5 years old. At the beginning of our project we wanted to create a YouTube channel & share our recipes via it. But we had to ask the preference of the mothers. Therefore in this week, we planned to do a telephone survey creating a questionnaire. 1st we contacted 5 mothers from each group members in their own areas. Then we conducted our survey. Within their responses, we got the highest preference to watch our recipes via a YouTube channel. Within that we started to create a whatsapp group for them.

We created a google form for the questionnaire;
